PRELIM TASK: Final Shot

I have decided to use this image as my final shot as the lighting in this picture is natural and the angle of gaze of the model, gives the reader a personal feel towards the magazine. I chose to use this image in my front cover, as the background of this picture is not too vibrant and does not cause the reader to lose focus from the main image of the model. The model is holding a textbook as well as wearing her student pass which meets the brief of the magazine, and clearly shows that she is a student. The model's makeup is also quite light and looks very natural, which further makes it apparent that she is a sixth form student. The bright red used on the textbook is quite bold and stands out, which is why I have decided to use red as one of my main colours, in my colour scheme. This shot can also help me to experiment with colours and enable me to make the right decision as to what I would want my final colour scheme and front cover to look like, as well as my contents page.
